Mix and Match
My Problem is Your Solution
KinSip started with a simple problem I noticed at home: kids backwash—a lot.
As a dad, I kept seeing what ended up back inside my son's cups after he drank from them. Food, saliva, crumbs and everything else would travel down the straw and mix right back into whatever he was drinking. The more I thought about it, the stranger it seemed that essentially every kids tumbler worked the same way.
So we decided to build something different.
What started as an idea turned into more than a year of engineering, prototypes, testing, tooling and manufacturing development. Instead of simply modifying an existing tumbler, we engineered KinSip around a backflow-isolation system that lets kids drink normally while redirecting what comes back down the straw into a separate chamber.
The goal was never to make a gimmicky “backwash cup.” We wanted to build a genuinely premium kids tumbler that could compete with the best drinkware on quality and design—and then add a feature those cups don't have.
KinSip was built by parents, for the way kids actually drink.
